Description: This ingot tests on an XRF at about 35.90% gold and 40% silver for an interesting mixed metal composition. The design lends one to suspect it may have been made in the 1960s but on its face purports to be from 1899 likely as a mining script or fair trade item. Only one known. No matches for a WHR mining company have been found. Unknown origin. Matches style of other purported Colorado pieces with similar dates / design some of which have sold for around this price point.
