Description: Featured is a vintage Florence Kroger print of a West Highland White Terrier. Florence Kroger (1897-1980) was a successful commercial artist known for her paintings of dogs, kittens and religious subjects. Her use of soft pastel colors made her work popular for nurseries and children's bedrooms. The Donald Art Company started reproducing Kroger's paintings beginning in the 1940s. This 8" x 10" print is in excellent condition. Chuck Olson CollectionChuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960.
