They are manufactured this way to allow an easier installation without needle removal, re-wiring or without voiding your vehicle warranty. Application of the white gauges is comparable to the process of tinting windows, we highly recommend our gauge face installation kit for an error free install. Manufactured on a 3 Mil. matte white material that allows an easy install on curved and odd shaped gauges.
