Description: This auction is for a whimiscal antique hand-painted jug with corn cob stopper. My husband and I have been avid collectors for approximately 35 years and have amassed a very large eclectic inventory of items. I am happy to say that I am now downsizing after many years of buying, so I am more than willing to share my collection with the eBay community. The offering is an earthenware jug that has seen many years of use. It has proper wear for its' age. While it is not signed by the artist, they took the time to create a quaint painted village scene on the jug. The artist showed skill and humor in the lovely painting. Very nice colors. It includes a village scene and a close up view of a lovely tree and swing. It measures approximately 12" tall and 6 1/2" wide. The stopper sticks out of the top about 1 1/4".
