Author Biography Moisés Naím is a Distinguished Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C., and one of the worlds most influential opinion leaders. He publishes weekly in newspapers around the world on international affairs and is among todays most widely read Spanish language columnists. Naím has authored over ten books, including bestsellers, which have been translated into many languages. In 2011, he received the first Ortega y Gasset Award for his illustrious journalistic career, which includes serving as the editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy magazine from 1996 to 2010.
