Description: You are bidding on a Western Electric type 174B Output transformer. This is a nice clean transformer that I removed from a piece of Western Electric audio equipment. It is a good transformer, rated at 37.5:4500 ohms. The high side winding is rated at 3.2 Hy with a DC resistance of 59 ohms. The low side is 3.9 ohms. The frequency response is 100 to 6000 cps. It does not have a date code, but was made in 1944 based on the date code of other components in the unit. It has nice long leads. It measures roughly 1 ¾ inches square in cross section, and is 3 ¼ inches tall. It is a quality transformer that should be great for tube audio, and create supurb sound with Western Electric quality.
