This jug/pitcher of embossed Jasperware by Wedgwood is a lovely blue with a velvet like finish (matte). The hand cut white pottery is applied over the blue and then fired. The piece is signed Wedgwood on the bottom. Of course, it is made in England. Measurements: It is 5" high. The top opening is about 2.25" in diameter. This pitcher is in excellent vintage condition. There are no cracks, crazing or chipping. Wedgwood Etruscan Pitcher Blue Jasperware, glazed inside EXCELLENT CONDITION -- NO chips or cracks. Such a beautiful shape I AM NOT AN EXPERT WHEN IT COMES TO GAUGING THE CONDITION OF USED OR VINTAGE ITEMS.
