Description: Up for sale is a vintage, like new Wayte Raymond coin board for U.S. Liberty Head nickel coins 1899 – 1912S (No. 357-C). These boards are one of the many varieties of pages that were made for the “National Coin Album” line of albums produced by the distinguished Wayte Raymond Company between the 1930s – 1960s. These coin board albums were the first of their kind, and are a favorite of coin collectors for their high-quality construction, simple design, and high collectability. Note: Board is empty with no coins included. The board features nickel sized ports in heavy-duty cardstock that are covered by clear acetate slides that glide in and out of the board’s side. There are 16 ports labeled for each year and mint mark of Liberty Head nickel minted between 1899 – 1912S. Board measures 8” long x 5-5/8” wide. The board is in like new condition, with very few signs of previous use. All ports are crisp and clean, and all acetate slides are intact and cleaned of dirt/dust. All edges and corners are sharp, with almost no wear or fraying. Mounting holes are sturdy and intact. There is a very small white scuff on the back side of the board (see picture). Other than some very minor handling and shelf wear, this board is in outstanding, vintage condition.
