Two input channels can be routed to eight outputs, for example. Or, eight inputs could get summed together in pairs and routed through four outputs. The link8 will work great in a factory system with separately powered front tweeters, front midrange drivers, rear full-range speakers, with two channels available for a subwoofer amp's input.
