Wavecrest CF Monroe Glass Opalware Collars and Cuffs Dresser Box Damage/Repaired

Description: Antique Victorian Wavecrest C.F. Monroe Glass Opalware Collars & Cuffs Dresser Box ~ DAMAGED/REPAIREDThere is a damaged area on the bottom that has been repaired (photos 11-18). I can see a very fine spider line crack that is up the one side from where the damage was (photo 17). I will mention despite the damage whoever did the repair did a really nice job and honestly it is not very noticeable because it is on the bottom. Not sure how to describe this but I feel this is a solid repair. The glass does not have that loose/wiggly feel like some cracks/chips have. This would still make a great display piece and can be used. Still have much vivid blue hand painted flowers on tops & sides.Measures approximately 6" tall x 7 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces (prior to packaging)We will take extra care in packaging and will include insurance up to the sale price in case of any damage during shipment, however we take pride in our packaging and you can see many of our feedback compliments us on that.We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item.
