Description: From the 1978 Martim Rosen production of Watership Down. This is a rare cel of a full-bodied Bigwig nearly 6 inches tall from the Linda Jones Gallery, purchased by me in 1994. I added a photo copy of the matching production background. This is a night scene between Bigwig and Hazel deciding where to stop on the first night of their journey. Bigwig makes a suggestion, which Hazel counters, and Bigwig accepts this, establishing Hazel as the leader of the troop. Great cel of this chief character, full front view, one of the best I've seen. Downsizing my animation collection due to space limitations. Ships with mat board and certificate. No frame.
