INSTRUCTIONS FOR DECO BEADS WATER-STORING GEL BEADSJust add water to create sparkling decorations for candle, silk and cut flower arrangements, centerpieces and more. Great for parties, weddings, graduations, birthdays, holidays, etc. Deco Beads are 100% non-toxic, environmentally safe, and biodegradable. DIRECTIONS: (For 14gram packet) 1. Add contents of packet in 2 quarts of water. (Distilled water is recommended) 2. Allow 4-6 hours for beads to expand. 3. Drain any excess water with a strainer or colander. 4. Pour finished beads in vases or bowls. 5. Add candles or decorations to the finished beads. 6. Packet makes approx. 1-1/2 quarts. For Cut Flowers: After draining excess moisture, pour only 3 - 4” of finished beads in the vase. Add water to the vase until there is approximately 1” of water on the bottom. Fill vase with remaining beads. Diagonally cut at least ½” off flower stems and place to the bottom of the vase. For Silk Flowers: Protect silk flower stems with wax or plastic wrap. Helpful Hints: Deco Beads will begin to shrink. Simply use a spray bottle of water and spray the shrunk beads to refresh them. After long periods of use, Deco Beads can be washed. Empty beads into large strainer or colander and rinse thoroughly in hot water. NOTE: Color beads will fade and change color. Layer or mix colors for stunning effects. Plastic wrap or wax paper can be used to separate colors. Caution: Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of children. While this product is non-toxic, it may present a choking hazard for children. This product must not be used as a toy as it is life threating when swallowed by children. Deco Beads are slippery when wet, sweep up any spills immediately. Dispose of beads in trash container. DO NOT FLUSH DOWN TOILETS OR DRAINS. DO NOT ADD EXCESS WATER. A LITTLE LESS DURING HYDRATION IS BETTER. YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD A LITTLE MORE IF NEEDED. TOO MUCH WATER WILL AFFECT COLOR.
