Stretched between two jack stands is one method but you could use almost anything.You want these strings parallel to each other so "A" and "B" are always equal.You could take two pipes and drill them so distance is equal between the holes and then just run string through the holes and stretch the strings down the side of vehicle.Once we have two parallel lines we set them so "C" are equal on both side and "D" are equal on both side.Once A,B,C and D are set, you simply measure G and H and subtract the two measurement. That's your toe for that wheel.You then go to each wheel and do the same. If you have any questions about this feel free to ask me. I want you to totally understand this.This is a easy thing to do that anyone can do. Using the Dream Stick is simple. Setup you strings in conventional manor parrallel to the side of the car. There are several examples on the internet on how to setup the strings. To use the Dream Stick adjust the three telescoping ends of the Dream Stick to your wheel rim. Place the Dream Stick against the wheel with your string running cross the right and left rulers on the Dream Stick. Read the right and left measurements and subtract one from the other. This is your toe angle. Example: one ruler says 3/16 and the other says 2/16 Subtract, Your toe is 1/16. If the measurement on the ruler closest to the front of the car is larger then the other ruler then you have a toe-in condition.
