The plate features a colorized drawing of The Capitol. The colors sky colors are pastels – blue and pink. There are green grasses in front. There is thick gilded edging and a thin gold circle painted just outside the scene. The plate has a nice shiny glaze.The iconic building is beautifully detailed. The decorative plate measures 7 inches in diameter. The front says The Capitol Washington. The back is stamped Johnson Bros England. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites.
