Description: Please note: Only the miniature of wolf Warghan is supplied in the sale. It is not painted. It is not assembled. The Ghazak Khan hobgoblin rider miniature is not supplied in the sale. A base may not be supplied. The painted diorama is an example of using the model in a conversion. Warghan, the gigantic wolf steed of Ghazak Khan, the exiled hobgoblin mercenary captain, come to The Old World to raise an army and coin to strike back against Hobgobla Khan and take the hobgoblin steppe khanate for himself. Released in 1999 alongside the other Dogs of War miniatures, Warghan is a massive and dynamic wolf complete with severed head trophies and makes a fine and fearsome mount for not only greenskins but anyone mad enough to ride a giant wolf. Perhaps a Kislevite or a sorceress, or one of Sauron's human lieutenants from Rhun (as in Lord of the Rings), if not as a warg riding orc riding the most fell of wargs. The most obvious use for Warghan is for a hobgoblin chief / boss; perhaps you've converted one and need a unique mount to go alongside your unique character. You'll note that the wolf doesn't have a saddle, but does have a sculpted collar so could easily be used as a huge hunting hound, for example as a giant warhound for Mordheim Witch Hunters, grown huge on a diet of wyrdstone and heretic meat. This miniature has been out of production for years and so makes a superb addition to any collection.
