Engraved front board, marbled exterior pages, beautiful front and back end-pages and tons of pictures/illustrations inside, wow!!! -Well cared for volume. Exterior protected by a thick clear plastic covering which can be easily removed, not taped or glued. No dust jacket, as issued... Binding and pages still tight. Strong solid binding, no loose pages. No markings or bookplates inside from previous owner, also rare. These old volumes tend to get marked up quite a bit... -Volume does have some minor shelf wear to the boards and also some minor crinkling to some of the pages, mostly at the beginning of the book.
