Description: Working Waltham A-8 military stopwatch from WW2, manufactured in 1944. Manufacture and serial numbers engraved on the caseback, as well as owner initials “JLA” and the base code “2380” indicating Roosevelt Field 1 in Long Island, NY. This is a piece of military history that, at the very least, saw training and pre-deployment activity. Winds, starts, stops, and resets; I’ve included several images to show the hands moving around the stopwatch, since video upload is giving me trouble. Though working, at its age, this is more so meant to be a collection addition as opposed to a frequent use stopwatch. Any questions just ask!
