Description: Waltham 17 Jewel 16 Size pocket watch with a hunting movement is being sold to restore or for parts only. The movement looks very good. It has a few marks and scratches. The watch is currently running and the balance swings nicely. Watch has not been timed for accuracy. The watch history is not known so it will need serviced to maintain accurate time if restored. It winds okay and sets time okay. The hands look good. Dial has hairlines and damage at 3. The marked Illinois Famous case with slot right for lever looks very good. The case has some minor wear and some scratches. I am not sure of content since one source says gold tone base metal and another says 5 Year gold filled. Case back and bezel are removed and replaced easily. The bow and crown look good. The crystal is clear. SN is 11,023,370 dating the watch to approx 1901. Please review the photos and ask questions.
