Gold Key Comics specialized in licensed adaptations of movies and TV shows, as well as Walt Disney-related stories. From the early Sixties on, they took over Dell's place as the outlet for Walt Disney comics, including the Donald Duck stories written and drawn by the legendary Carl Barks. By the Seventies, the material was exclusively reprint, but these later issues provide an inexpensive means of obtaining Barks material, which remains in high demand by collectors. Here I have Walt Disney Comics & Stories, Volume 34, #1, dated October 1973. It reprints Donald Duck stories by Barks from the Sixties. It's in very fine/near mint condition - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
