Description: Walt Disney Children's Tea Set Assortment (4 pieces) VINTAGE & RARE This vintage and rare Walt Disney Children's Tea Set Assortment (circa 1930's) is a charming four-piece assortment made by Wadeheath Ware in England. The assortment features Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Jack and Horse Collar. Each piece is multicoloured and they have a decorative Art Deco style. They each have a glossy finish and printed back stamp. Saucers and plate are back stamped - "Wadeheath Ware By Permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd. Made in England." Back stamps are not centred to base of the pieces. The miniature child's handless bowl has a 75ml capacity, 40mm height and 70mm diameter. The pieces are made of porcelain and should be hand washed only. It is a must-have for Disney collectors and those who appreciate vintage art pottery. Circa 1930's Fair condition for their age and use over the years (please refer to photos and item descriptions). 1. Miniature Handleless Bowl Features the Disney character Horse Collar (Mickey's best friend). Please note there are two hairline cracks to the glaze with one hairline crack radiating over the outside rim. Bowl still holds liquid. Crazing to glaze evident. Signs of shelf wear to base. No chips to rim and no fading to hand painted outer band on rim. No fading or damage to character transfer. 75ml volume capacity 40mm in height and 70mm in the top diameter Approximate Weight = 37 gm 2. Saucer (Jack & Horse Collar) Features the Disney characters Jack (one of the mice that was Cinderella's friend) and Horse Collar (Mickey's best friend). In fair condition commensurate with age and use. Some wear to outer band of saucer showing losses to hand painted rim. Some glaze wear on the bottom of the saucer and some small fleabites around the transfer image of Horse Collar. Some letters are missing from 'Walt Disney' under the transfer image of Jack. Saucer (Jack & Pluto) In fair to good condition. No chips or cracks or crazing to glaze. No fading to band or character transfers. Some fleabites evident under top rim of plate. Some colour rubbed from the inner band on the front of the plate and crazing to the glaze. No wear or fading to character transfer of Mickey Mouse.
