Purchased Pre-owned, collected, paged and in protective storage. Book shows handling, age and the patina of time, some chipping on cover, but all pages intact to spine, no dropped pages, dog-eared. Personalization of the previous owner on bottom front cover of book, but none inside or notes, etc. Pages are a slick page, not brittle and have great helps of the quilting from years ago! A great resource book support for those quilts from the 1815-to the mid 19th. I remember seeing some of these in my youth on the farms/Country-side! One of my favorite books, but need to find the next forever home!.. Enjoy.
