Description: Vintage ZENITH RADIO TRANS OCEANIC TRANSISTOR ROYAL 3000-1 Tested & Partially Tested and Worked, since we don’t know how to test all the functions. That Antenna extends fully and has NO bends or breaks anywhere, it maybe hard to see but we took a few pictures, including the extendable joints and it fully extended perfectly. So please look at all the pictures and blow them up so you can easily see every detail. If you have any questions please write to us. This radio without batteries weighs nearly 12 pounds! So it is an extremely well built solid state radio! And does cost more to ship and I sure do to this fact! It will be very safely and securely boxed and shipped so NOTHING happens while traveling to you. We are selling this a “ Parts and Repairable” since we don’t want any returns please, so if you have any questions please write to us before buying this.See the video we added so you know it is functioning as we tested it.Speaker works and we thought we would have gotten more reception channels. Great Physical condition (see pics). Tested AM & FM and got a couple channels clearly and it did not cut off after testing it for over a hour and a half, when we finally turned it off. Does NOT have the 12V adapter for power, but worked with the new batteries we bought (not included) the Battery Box is in Excellent Condition. Batteries can be included but it just adds to the weight. The batteries were bought NEW and ran the unit for only 1 hour and about 30 minutes. So they still are good batteries. It just adds a lot to the shipping weight. You MUST write to us BEFORE buying this so we can do the adjustment on the weight. Light up function did not work, but maybe just a bulb? Since we found this in the bottom of Dad’s old wooden filing cabinet we know we used this during hurricanes back, way back in the day and it was fully functional.We don’t know how or any other bands but the AM & FM. We tried but nothing tuned in. Ignorance doesn’t mean it doesn’t operate. We just don’t know. NOTHING is Broken that I could See but it Will Need a Good Cleaning and maybe a little electronic repair before it works Perfect ? So we are not writing this for the HONEST buyers but those bad folks! NOTE: when we ship out we use strong shipping boxes and each item we ship is FULLY INSURED and we are no longer going to handle broken box insurance claims. We discovered that one buyer crushed their shipping box and asked for a hefty partial refund. The shipper sent us a picture of the box sitting at the front door and it was NOT CRUSHED? We also discovered that because we were NOT in possession of the box it was impossible for us to file the claim. So now and in the future all claims will be handled by the buyer of the hat or item we ship. Again we ALWAYS carefully pack each item so it will not be crushed in a good strong shipping box. There are always some Bad Apples around who make everyone’s life impossible! It not fair to the rest of the GOOD FOLKS but it’s a fact of life these days!
