Jacket is heavy similar weight of a leather jacket the same size. Jacket is made of the highest quality materials, contains about 3.5 pounds of silk. Label: "Oriental Made in China" - I’ve seen this Oriental brand on 1960's 100% rayon high quality smoking jackets that were made in Shanghai. Pictures of smoking tags are on this listing for example. Zipper: YKK Vislon zipper were trade marked in Japan in 1973. This Vislon zipper is marked SH indicating made in Shanghai I believe. Not sure how to date this jacket, it's post 1973 and pre 2000 I'd think. Any insight would be appreciated. Best guess this was made is late 80's. Please message with any knowledge or questions.
