The 3rd (very smallest) ring is bent in a bit on one side. However I'm not sure what this ring is for as I've never seen a pot by Sigg Tourist of that size sold in the US For Cooking - my typical uses: frying up bacon, keeping food warm while its also being used as a lid, ditto pre-heating water, etc - works fine. It definitely has some "texture" to it from years of banging around. Nothing within my skills, but if there was some dish that needed a perfectly flat surface - this might not be your pan. Has name of an original owner etched on side.
