Description: Stan Langtwait started his Shapes of Clay business in the early 1950's and produced handmade clay pottery pieces until his death in 1980. After his death the company was sold to a business in Springfield Oregon which began incorporating the St. Helens volcanic ash into the pieces. This is an earlier signed piece in great condition. The clay came from the Cascade mountains region in Washington. Zoom in on photos to see the detail in this piece. Retro inspired Santa making his list. Made from the ash from Mt St. Helens by artist Stan Langtwait. Signed on back and still has original sticker. Great collectible piece is one of only a few Holiday designs.
