Description: Sargent V-B-M, No 3411, Woodworkers Bench Plane: This plane is in very good condition with no cracks or problems and, as far as I know, it has its original parts. The rear tote (handle) had a damaged top. I repaired it with a piece of mahogany. The repair has an interior dowel and then was glued. The tote top is very tight and solid. The dowel makes all the difference. The cutter as you can see has good length, almost 7 1/2". The front knob is in excellent condition. The sole has it's usual wear for a wood plane (see close ups).
