Description: This is a rare Rosenthal Studio Linie (Line) Marcello Morandini wall plate. Marcello Morandini was a leader in the constructivism movement with geometric abstractions. He worked with Rosenthal starting in the 1990's. This is an amazing wall plate in shades of grey and white in a swirl pattern. It measures 12 1/4" across and is signed on the front (please see photos). It is in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a string on the back for hanging. It is marked on the back "Rosenthal - Studio-Linie - Germany" Under that is "Kunstler - Platzteller" followed by "Marcello Morandini" followed by his mark/signature.
