Description: This vintage wooden cigarette box is in the form of 3 books flanked by bookends. The "books" are handpainted with daisy-like flowers. Once the lid is lifted, a 3-compartment wooden insert rises up. Each compartment probably holds 20 cigarettes. The piece is about 4 1/4" tall. The base is 4 3/4" by 3 1/2". The painting is charming, but definitely primitive. The inlaid Scotties on the inside of the lid are a cute surprise. A definite conversation piece.
