Description: No date, but comes from a lot of press photos that are mainly from between 1914-1919. The bit of newspaper attached to back describes the repopulation effort made by the American Bison Society beginning in 1905 to bring back the herds which were already in huge decline from hunting. Photo shows herds having grown after this effort but again, no date. There is some wear to edges - chip on top center and mild wear on edges/creases on corners. Measures about 7 x 9.5 inches. This comes from a lot of press photos from the New York Tribune during the teens/WWI area - I’ll be listing others related to stage/film and much more over the next month or so. Happy to combine shipping if you buy other photos from me, just let me know!
