Description: This adorable vintage German novelty flask features a drunk man on a raft with nothing but a toothbrush, a strategically placed rag, and a flask. His nose is red from drinking and a ship is headed his way. A fish has popped to the surface to take it all in. The writing translates roughly to "(before) the final rescue." The flask is porcelain and measures approximately 7" tall by about 3-1/2" wide. It has a wire swing top stopper which is in very good used condition save a few tiny cracks along the edge of the rubber plug. There really are no noted flaws to speak of on this piece - no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs - just some normal wear on the rim of the base. it has survived incredibly well considering its age, which is likely 1950s or 60s. A very cute retro novelty piece. Feel free to reach out with any questions. This is a new shop but I have been selling on eBay with my sister over at @shangrilaland for some time - please check out that eBay account for reference. I take great care when packaging and ship within one day of purchase. Thank you so much for stopping by! **Please understand this is a vintage and/or used item that may show wear due to age and use.
