Description: Today I am offering this fabulous and very vintage kitschy funky Christmas choirboy trio figurine. It is a mid-century modern piece made in Japan. The three carolling singers are connected together to create one figurine. It measures approximately 6" from side to side across the front, about 6" high, and 2" from front to back. I'm not 100% sure what material this is made of. It feels like ceramic pottery or plaster, but it may well be papier-mch with lots of layers of shellac and paint. It's very sturdy. It has an antiqued shaded effect. I originally thought it was old and dusty but it's just made that way. There are lots of great details and the singers have super sweet faces with expressive eyes. Their haircuts are a definite nod to the Beatles and this is certainly from the era when they were the absolute rage. It's in great condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
