Description: You are bidding on this Vtg Matchbook Cover Christmas Custom Felt Overlay Pipe Cleaner Candy Cane Xmas This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has had matches removed, striking strips shows wear and perforations from staple removal, there is wear to felt, light rubbing to surfaces, mild edgewear and associated corner wear with minor tape residue from scrapbook pages, fading with points of blemish to interior, some fading/smudging at center fold, fading/wear to pipe cleaner candy cane. Overall quality is good; smooth/clean, with good preservation of color/sheen and figural embellishment still sharp/clear. There are no excessive rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The matchbook cover measures approx 2" x 4.5" and contains no matches, which was the acceptable guideline for matchbook collecting up until the 1960's and is part of a collection of over 2300 matchbook covers from the 1930's to the 1970's.
