Description: DESCRIPTION: Awesome and HUGE vintage Mid Century SEASHELL THEME NEEDLEPOINT PURSE. This Massive handbag is 18" at widest, and sooo roomy! The Needlepoint Grey & White shells on a dark red background, with little grey swirls, is on both FRONT AND BACK. Sides and bottom are either a leatherette-vinyl, or leather, not sure. As are the padded handles. Strong, hefty zipper opens to a huge roomy compartment, with 4 pockets, each goldtone trimmed AND a coin purse. The fabric lining is a ripply-textured heavy satiny material and NICE! No tears or odors at all! SIZE: approx. 18" wide at widest point, and 12 1/2" high to top of purse body, not including handles. This is NOT a shoulder bag, but a vintage purse that was carried by handle. Measured at the widest areas. Measurements are to the best of my ability to measure. CONDITION: Vintage,and in used condition. The Needlepoint body, and the interior is Excellent, however, the handles, and leather (or leatherette) trim does show much stress and age wear. Couple places on the handles wear it is worn away. The leatherette sides are NOT cracked through. Purse can be used now, as is, or you might want to have the handles replaced eventually. Please view ALL the pictures. Purse was at the bottom of one of her garment bags, so may need to be stuffed with tissue to straighten out the stance.
