Description: Vtg MARX TRAIN 999 040 LOCOMOTIVE w/ NEW YORK CENTRAL TENDER Set. I got this set in a lot at an estate sale. Engine ran when tested in forward and reverse. Item has scratches and marks from age and use. The engine is cast and the tender and cars are tin. The crossing bell worked as it should. You will need to provide your own track trip for the crossing bell. One of the tabs is broken on the bottom of the crossing bell as shown in photos. Items need to be cleaned up a bit.
