It can hold five photos. The approximate measurements for each photo hole is 3 1/4“ x 3 1/8“, 3 1/4 inches x 3 1/8 inches, 2” x 1 3/4”, 2” x 1 3/4”, and 4 1/4” x 3 3/4”. These are the outside measurements of each picture hole. Back has wear. This item may have minor wear and discoloration due to age, which is normal. On the left side there are two light scratches however it’s really not noticeable due to the distressed nature of this piece. See pictures. Bin24
