This is open from the bottom, so I believe it is a teapot cozy or pan knob holder. It could also be stuffed with tissue paper and used for Farmhouse decor. I believe this was made in the 1950s. It is about 6 1/2 inches long overall, and 4 1/2 inches tall. This hand crocheted chicken hen cozy is in very good condition.
