Description: Vintage 1960's Green Ceramic Light up Christmas tree and Base. The tree including the base measures 12" tall and is 7" at its widest point. It sits on a square base with beveled corners that is 2" high and 4" square. The base contains the socket that holds a regular 25 Watt household bulb (which will be included). It is hard wired and has a 66" long white cord with a non-polarized Bakelite plug. The cord and plug are in excellent condition with no brittleness. The base has a silver tone push button on the front to turn on the light. There is green felt on the bottom to prevent scratches to your furniture. The tree is hand painted green with darker green shading and glazed. Multicolored bulbs cover the tree and there is a red star on the top. Most of the bulbs were glued in when I purchased it and some were loose in the box but all were there. I glued in the loose bulbs. The previous owner glued the star into the top and it's a bit crooked.The bulbs can become loose from time to time from handling and can simply be glued back in if you wish to prevent losing them. The tree and base are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
