Description: Vintage Grammes Brass and Wood Bookends These half moon weighted bookends are made from wood and brass with a painted and enameled finish. They feature a pair of crested red birds perched on a pine tree branch with a full moon in the background. The brass curved plate is held to the wood with small brass nails. The brass base has an art deco stair step, it isn't solid brass but is weighted and finished with a felt piece. Vintage used condition. There is tarnishing and some finish loss. The stain is missing in some places. The original foil labels are still attached on both bookends.
