Description: REAL STUFF SPORTS CONTINUES ITS LINE OF RARE HELMETS. This is a very rare clear shell Georgia Tech helmet from the 1970s. The helmet is a MacGregor 100MH model that has never been used and has not been drilled to mount a facemask. Very rare indeed. The helmet comes with the original MacGregor chinstrap. The helmet is in very nice condition. There are a few marks on the one side from storage over the 50 years. We have not tried to remove any of the marks but I am sure they will clean up very nicely. Additionally there are a couple paint issues on the front/side of the helmet as show in the photos. This is common on helmets painted gold from MacGregor. Not sure why but we have had two Saints NFL helmets with the same paint issue. Not a major issue but we did want to point it out. Does not detract from the helmet.
