Description: Unusual, and probably uncommon, George Williams College ceramic fraternity mug. It holds about 25oz of liquid. Phi zeta tau fraternity crest and the year 1964 are emblazoned on the front side and the name "GEORGE" on the back. A closeup of the hard to read company name and Chicago address on the bottom. Stein is about fine, with no chips, strong color and clear stampings or silk screen. In 1964, GWC was located in Hyde Park, Chicago. Two years late college moved to its Downers Grove campus location. It went bankrupt in the mid-1980s. Pictures are of the actual item for sale. Object is 5" in height and 5" in diameter. It weighs a couple ounces short of 2 pounds. The glaze has typically crazed but is not intrusive and has to be seen close-up to notice it. Experienced seller moving back to eBay marketplace after long period of absence for various reasons. Have been using the same ID on Amazon and Discogs for a decade or two. Feel free to check it out. Questions? Answered quickly. Quick shipping. Thanks for looking!
