Description: From my personal collection, so one owner only. Graham Stuart Thomas was a celebrity English gardener and writer, as well as a consultant to the National Trust, which maintains beautiful historical homes and gardens throughout the United Kingdom. This would be a great present for any dedicated gardener, especially one who admires the great English gardens. This discussion of gardening to maintain winter interest was originally published in 1957. This copy is the hard-to-find third edition, printed in 1984 in England. It includes both black and white and color illustrations by the author. Please see the photos for a shot of the contents page to see the scope of the book. The book is in nice condition except that the inside stitching (near the middle of the book) is starting to get loose. There are no missing pages, however. The dust cover has a few nicks and scratches, but is in good shape otherwise. Thanks for looking.
