It has a medium tan glaze with brown rims and , applied carved green border on the top and base. It has the DOULTON LAMBETH ENGLAND stamp in use from 1891-1956 and a Doulton C6654 registry number (for 1901-22). Ceramics have signs of use as expected. The condition is very good for a mug of its age. The color is very good as well as the double lattice design. There are some flaws that we have photographed. There is a small scratch on the base and a hairline crack near the handle. We have tested the Mug's integrety leaving water filled to the top with no leakage. The hairline crack was only found by extremely close inspection and does not detract from this amazing antique mug.
