Description: Here is a Vintage Digsmed Denmark Teakwood Cutting Board and Cake Knife. I think my late wife bought these items in the late 1960s. The board retains a sales sticker indicating a price of $65. The board and knife have been sparsely used, mainly stored in our dining room buffet. They are very high quality. The board has a similar pattern on both sides, measures approximately 15¼ x 8½ x 1¼ inches, and conservatively is in GOOD TO BETTER (most would say “Very Good”) CONDITION. The board weighs 3½ pounds!The cake knife is 13 ¼ inches long, in VERY GOOD CONDITION and has the Digsmed Denmark insignia. It is relatively heavy and weighs a bit more than 2 ounces.
