This fabric is still on the bolt, as shown in photos. I have done a visual check of the fold line and do not see any fading or wear. As with all fabrics, it may take considerable effort or be impossible to fully press and steam out the fold line. Clean and odor-free.50% cotton and 50% polyester yarn-dyed plaid in cream, dark red and very dark green. The green appears black even in person, but is definitely green under magnification. The fabric is reversisble, see photo showing turned edge. Repeat is 3/8 horizontal and 7/16 vertical. It is similar weight to a quilting cotton, with a bit thicker threads. I would call this a shirting plaid, although dresses and crafts would be another option. I don't have a date on it, but I'm guessing this was produced during the 1980s-1990s primitives and country craze. Think of Jan Patek, et al.
