The Scottish Claymore sword is formidable, with a rich history that dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries. This particular version of the Claymore style sword is a two-handed, large and heavy sword. The sword features a long, straight blade that measures around 41" in length and is roughly 2.3 inches wide at the base, tapering to a point at the tip. The overall length of the sword from tip to tip is approximately 55" with an overall weight of 5 lbs, 10 oz. The hilt of the sword is designed for use as a two-handed grip. The grip is made of spiral carved hardwood and fits comfortably in the hand. The pommel of the sword is large, silver colored, and rounded, providing balance and stability. The sheath is black leather and is clam shell embossed along its border.
