Description: VTG Collectible Handmande Doll by Artist Alexandra Kukinova of Russia 28". A gorgeous 28" Doll made by Alexandra Russia. She's highly collectible. She is wearing woman festive clothes the end of XIXth century. Russian history as shown through its traditional costumes. Exclusive handmade doll collection. She has an embroidered face; hand-beaded headdress. Her whole outfit is beautifully detailed and exquisitely made and adorned with beading. Her boots are equally beautiful. Made of rag style doll, all cotton soft fabrics. The clothes are not meant to be removed, they are sewn in a way they are not easily removable. Alexandra Koukinova - the artist - having come from a background in costume and stage design, she founded "Alexandra Moscow" in 1989, making the dolls entirely in cloth.. This is entirely made in cloth. This is an early example, as she later moved to ceramic faces. Very hard to find this one and MUCH nicer in person. The doll is in very good condition. The dress has some faded marks due to storage time and folding, but this is normal for a fabric doll. You need to check very closely to see the color change.
