Description: This Chase Brass & Copper Company Art Deco Powder Box is chrome, brass, soft pink paint with an amber colored Bakelite Finial. It is possibly from the 1940 era. It has a frosted glass jar insert. The glass has no chips or cracks. The base and lid do show appropriate scratching and chipping of the finish (See All Photos). The base does appear to be pulled apart at the seam but others I have seen look the same (See Photos). The Amber Bakelite ball is secure. Overall approximate size: Diameter - 4 1/2 in.Height - 3 in.Weight - 1 lb. This would make a great addition to your vanity, your art deco or mid-century decor.
