Description: Up for sale is VTG 1950's? boxed set of 2 1/2" tall hand painted wood carved people created by M. Guay of Québec and wholesaled to Canada Steamship Lines to be sold as souvenir gifts which would explain why the base had/has Canada Steamship Lines price tags and not the M. Guay stamp. The base of the woman still has an intact Canada Steamship Lines price tag while the man only has remnants of the tag. The man also has a small chip on the back of his hat and the box is a bit beat-up but all in all, this is a pretty cool piece if you're a collector of either vintage wood carvings or steamship collectables.
