VTG BLUE Half KITCHEN APRON by SUE-SETS/New York cotton Lawn w/Floral Appliques

Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a vintage and preowned Half Kitchen Apron made in USA by SUE-SETS/New York, have the original Tag from that company, this piece came to me in a big lot of vintage Linens, had few issues of very short sashes, damage waistband and a tear in the top of a right side Pocket, was made using a 100%cotton Batiste/Lawn or Organdy woven fabric, I am not sure, with 4 pretty floral machine sewn Appliques around the Skirt the were in excellent condition, only in the top applique that form a little pocket had small hole/tear in a corner, I did some repairs to bring it back to life, a new waistband using a piece of 100% cotton bias tape in coordinated blue and white checkered colors, made long and skinny white sashes - tiebacks - using 100%cotton brand new Muslin fabric and with the same bias tape I went all around the borders of the skirt, the tear/hole in the top of the seam of the pocket was protected in the inside/outside using a white piece of a iron-on interfacing the was covered in the front side with a hot glued pretty brand new Floral Blue color applique with a little white Bow on top and the original Tag was machine sewn on the outside of the waistband, check the pictures - Round skirt is 18 inches long from the waist to the end of the bias tape without counting the waistband just in the center and is 30 inches wide from side to side in the widest part of the rounded skirt - waistband is 18.5 inches long and 1+1/8 inches wide- tiebacks are 47.5 inches long and 7/8 inches wide each This beautiful Apron have been restore for full enjoyment, is not for use, only for display, before the restorations were made was soak, hand wash, hang to dry and press with no starch, is just a wonderful vintage piece, excellent gift for lovers of vintage Linens, everybody will love it!!!
