It has a coin slot on top. It’s in Very Good Vintage Condition. The top handle, four feet and hinges are in good shape. The tin has some wear from normal use, age and storage. I did not use any chemicals to try to clean the tin as I didn’t want to inadvertently damage it. Blue Bird tins are a kind of visual history of 20th-century Britain. The uncovering of Tutankhamun’s tomb in the 1920's triggered a lot of Egyptian designs. Please review photos closely for more details regarding condition and design.
